After having our lunch that is posted here. We went to The Block to watch a movie.
Myio got a thread on his shirt and tied it in my thumb hahaha
This past few months Myio is now who’s deciding what movies we should watch, I let him choose because I’m an avid fan of horror movies so I’ll always choose it. Honestly speaking he never fails me with fantasy, action, comedy, cartoon and sci-fi movies! I always get excited to open my itouch and tweet about the movie once I got home hahaha! It’s because of him I came to appreciate action movies, too.
We watched Gravity at IMax it’s a space drama movie starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney do I need to say more? I have no idea what the movie is about since I never heard of it on my twitter timeline neither on the trending topics. One word: AMAZING I tell you. The opening shot is 13 minutes long, no cuts. I love the graphics we were blinking on the scene where debris was flying everywhere it really looks real! There’s thrill, action, comedy, and drama in one movie. I’m just quiet while watching the movie then I caught Myio looking at me because he thought I don’t like the movie and I might fell asleep.
After watching we had a stroll around the mall we want to eat something like ice cream, coffee, sweets we don’t know so we ended up ordering a frappe that taste like cocoa huhu and donuts from Dunkin Donuts haha!

Since we’re both busy on his birthday we just had a celebration last Saturday at Bellini’s Italian Restaurant.
When you enter the restaurant you’ll be greeted Buon giorno by the waiters then they will lead you to your seat. Too bad Mr. Bellini (the owner) wasn’t there I practiced a little bit of Italian in case if he’ll talk to me hahaha
Complimentary bread sticks
I remembered my FL2 subject because of these words. Myio told me Bella since he knew that Bella means beautiful in Italian.
Complimentary water? Lol
We called the waiter to have our order then he started saying “bread…….. for appetizer” ha? what? We just said yes since we don’t know what’s happening already hahaha
Focaccia bread to dip with black vinegar, olive oil and parmesan cheese for appetizer (P100)
Ofcourse Italy is famous for their pizza so the menu is bombarded with pizza’s and it’s so hard to choose so we just ordered the Bellini’s Special - Pomodoro, Melanzane, Peperoni, Cucumber, Onion, Salame, Salsiccia, ham, bacon, hotdog (P350 small/good for 4 persons)
Myio loves carbonara so he got himself a Fettuccine Carbonara (P310)
Again, I can’t pick from their menu so Myio just asked what’s their best pasta the waiter suggested us their Spaghetti Tartufo Funghi con Prosciuto - Mushroom Sauce and Prosciutto ham (P360)
For our drinks we both had a pineapple juice (P60) then Myio ordered another drink pineapple orange juice (P60).
I wanna try their famous orange cake but I’m already full we didn’t finished the whole pizza by the way haha! All the food that we ordered are good especially the Fettucine Carbonara. I’m definitely going back to try their other dishes.
October 5, Myio’s 21st Birthday: Part I
Bellini’s Italian Restaurant is located at Cubao Expo (formerly Marikina Shoe Expo), Cubao Expo is like a subdivision or it is a subdivision hahaha with different stores like antique shop, bike shop, coffee shop and a lot more!
Bellini’s is owned by an Italian paparazzo Mr. Roberto Bellini with his Filipino wife Maria Luisa. The facade looks old already because it was built in 1999 but still fascinating. The first thing you’ll notice upon entering the restaurant is the Leaning tower of Pisa. When you’re already inside you will be automatically transported to Italy! The ambiance is warm and romantic. Make sure to take your camera out because of the exquisite European paintings, 3D artworks and Mr. Bellini’s paparazzi shots displayed on the walls and ceiling that you don’t wanna miss to post on Instagram lol. The restaurant is divided into three dining areas. It’s perfect for dates and hang outs. There’s no problem about the waiters they’re all attentive if you need something. Honestly if we were the only person inside the resto that day I won’t stop taking snaps even the pitcher looks nice! jk
“Alam mo ba ‘yung three month rule, ha?! Lahat ng nagmahal at nasaktan alam ‘yun! Kailangan mo muna maghintay ng three months bago ka magka-boyfriend ulit! Ba’t ba kating-kati kang palitan ako?! May dalawang linggo pa’ko Bash!” do you know what movie that line is? Yes! One More Chance was taped in that resto! It is where Basha, Popoy and their friends gather.
Talking about the prices hmmm… it’s expensive for a P300 carbonara but come to think of it, it’s an authentic Italian carbonara so never mind the price!
