Hi there! You have stumbled upon a blog of a girl named Patrizia she's better known as Patti, double T single I, a college student from sunny Manila. A petite lady who loves to eat. An introvert, observer, art and fashion enthusiast. A lover of life, coffee, horror films, and chocolates.

This blog is the aftermath of her boredom.

March 12, 2014 | The Iscreamist

It’s been a month since the last time we went to Gateway. We met there and ofcourse Myio won’t be Myio if he’s not late! We watched Non-Stop and because of that I am now scared to continue my Flight Attendant dream hahaha! But the movie is really good and the twists! After the movie we had our lunch at Taco Bell. Ohhh how I missed their cheesy quesadilla and their cheesy fiesta potato! CHEEEESE!

It’s really hot these days and we don’t have any idea what to do and where to go next so we decided to try The Iscreamist located in Magiting Street near Maginhawa. Yay! Another item on my to-eat list is crossed out! I got disappointed with the place because I expected it was big but it can only accommodate 15-20 customers. Some customers waiting in line went out already maybe they don’t have time to wait for other customers to be finished. But the good side is it’s not your ordinary ice cream stall they serve unique flavors of ice cream. The place is so blue haha it looks like a mini laboratory there’s also some vector-ish pictures hung on the wall. It’s so cool to imagine that we can use science and art in our daily lives.

What we ordered? Ofcourse their famous Dragon’s Breath! It’s a small snack and you’ll dip it into a cup of liquid nitrogen which is the reason to bring out smoke through your mouth and nose. When they serve our food they gave us instructions on how to eat it, dip the Dragon’s Breath for 7 seconds then it will get hard as rock. Don’t bite it because it will seperate from the stick and fall out so eat it whole. We ordered the Smore’s(made of graham, marshmallows and I think chocolate) for 75php/3pcs and Macarons 75php/2pcs. We had another round because the liquid nitrogen is so cool and bitin! At first I’m kinda scared because of the “Caution’s” I read but it’s all good and safe.

While on our way home I had this uncomfortable feeling inside my mouth it’s kinda rough maybe it’s because of the liquid nitrogen haha. Try it guys! Especially it’s scorching hot now in our country(well what’s new haha)!

We had our Alumni Homecoming at school and I don’t even know why we have to attend that event we’re not even a graduate yet! The only thing I enjoyed that day was the photobooth haha we’re seven and each of us have a photobooth stub so imagine we posed 28 times! It’s really boring so me and my friends ditched after we had our lunch.

Since Myio had a client meeting that day I went straight to Robinson’s to meet up with him. (sings) For the first time in forever I took a cab, alone! I’m really scared of riding cabs because of the news, the smoke thingy they do then you’ll fall asleep!

It’s also my first time to see him talk to his clients. He’s so good and his portfolio/set’s are all beautiful! I told him that I don’t want to join because they might talk to me and I’m really shy but he forced me and it’s a good thing tho ‘cos I got a free Starbucks drink from his client haha! I hope they’ll get Myio, they won’t regret! Then that powerbank is from him it’s too plain so I washified it.

I’m one lucky girlfriend! He gave me the iPhone last January but before he gave me that he bugged me for a month if he’ll buy himself an iPad Air or iPhone I always answer him it depends on his lifestyle he need an iPad for client meetings, if I were him I’ll choose iPhone because I don’t have a fancy phone lol. And then while having our dinner he placed the iPhone infront of me I grabbed it knowing it was my iTouch then I said “Ay! Akala ko itouch ko!” I wasn’t really expecting because y’know we’re just bf and gf I don’t deserve things like that. I’m giving it back to him but he said he’s not a fan of iPhones haha!

After all his non-stop shooting days or should I say a month, finally a movie date again! Myio wanted to watch Bride for rent but I’m not a fan of tagalog kilig flicks except for John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo’s love flicks hehe! I suggested him The Secret Life of Walter Mitty then he said he was about to suggest that too. We killed time ‘til 2pm at Myio’s home sweet home and I also met their new dogs, Skye and Cloud!

We went to Robinson’s Magnolia, bought ticket, looked around the cinema hall to buy some snacks then Myio pointed me this restaurant “Nasa taas sila o” I find it unique and cute so I told him if we could have our lunch there instead of going to fastfood/resto that we tried already. So we saw Potato Corner, Myio’s fave haha, while waiting for our snack Myio took photos of me the vendor is looking at us while smiling I dunno if she finds us cute or ewan? Hahaha!

After the movie we dine in at Pazzo Rollio. I’ll make a separate post for it. Before we leave the waiter asked if Myio is a blogger because he took photos of the place and our food haha! Then we chilled at Starbucks, waited for sundown and did a little photoshoot.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is a funny, dramatic and quotable movie. Very inspiring! I think this movie is good for photographers too haha! It’s always true that when you’re about to give up it only means you’re getting nearer and nearer in achieving your goal. Be brave enough to go out of your comfort zone to learn and discover new things! Stop dreaming and start living!

Reblogging this because I added some photos :)
